Week 4: Wrapping up our R/C Mustang Build Project
Week 4 of HPI Racing’s RS4 Sport3 Creator Edition R/C car build-off
Our HPI Racing RS4 Sport3 Creator Edition radio-controlled car build-off has come to its completion with this, our Week 4 video. Over the last month we’ve shared this series of videos as we’ve build a scale replica of our 1966 Mustang “Week to Wicked” project car so that you can see just how much fun there is in the radio control hobby. While this isn’t the first R/C Mustang we’ve constructed, this was hands down one of the most fun projects as we watched the fellow build-off competitors and their videos each week to see what they were up to; even going as far as having a little fun taunting each other on social media!
Week 1 of our HPI Racing RS4 Sport3 Creator Edition build-off was where we unboxed our chassis and introduced everyone to the build-off. If you missed our build-off intro and video see it HERE. Likewise, our Week 2 segment, where we installed all of our chassis electronics and tested our radio system, is available HERE, and finally, our Week 3 video can be found HERE as well. So if you’ve missed any we encourage you to view those in order before hitting our final video displayed here.
For Week 4 of the build-off the participants, which include Chris de Graaf of Hemistorm RC (www.hemistorm.com), Greg Vogel of RC Driver (www.rcdriver.com), Kyle St. Peter of FotoGuy RC (www.fotoguyrc.com), and Rich Morgan of The RC Network (www.thercnetwork.com), will be wrapping up their respective builds. We did confirm in Week 3’s videos from the build-off competitors that we are the only Mustang in the build-off. Our good friend (well maybe not for long now!) Greg Vogel at RC Driver is actually building a Camaro, whereas the remaining build-off peeps all went the import route. We hope you’ve enjoyed this build-off series and if you’re ready to build your own “mini-Mustang” be sure to check out our friends at HPI Racing, including their line of Ford licensed classic and late-model Mustang bodies, wheels, accessories, and more to build your mini dream ride.
